Most development plans start with what is missing. CliftonStrengths starts with what is strong.
The gap between a good performer and a great one is rarely effort. It is knowing where your natural talent lies and using it on purpose.
Years go into working on gaps. Very few people are shown where they are already strong.
Ask someone to describe their job and they will talk for an hour. Ask what they do naturally well and most go quiet. That blind spot is expensive. Their best talent goes under-used, and the organisation paying for it often never sees it.
Generic feedback hands people a list of things to fix. CliftonStrengths asks a better question: what are this person's most natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, and how do we put them to work? It changes what we measure, what we report and what happens in the room afterwards.

Four domains, one picture of talent
CliftonStrengths does not score skill or performance. It measures where a person's natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving sit across 34 themes, grouped into four domains. Each domain describes a different way of contributing, and together they show how a person, and a team, tend to get things done.
CliftonStrengths Assessment
The difference between a good performer and a great one is rarely effort. It is whether they know where their natural talent lies and use it on purpose.
CliftonStrengths is a talent assessment from Gallup that identifies a person's most dominant patterns across 34 themes. It uses timed, paired statements, so it captures instinctive responses rather than a considered self-image. Results are reported as a Top 5 or a full 34 ranking, giving a clear and personal view of where someone is naturally strongest.
At Northpoint, the report is the starting point, not the product. Every assessment is followed by a facilitated debrief that turns themes into specific conversations about role design, team contribution and development.
EXECUTING
How a person turns ideas into results. It looks at their natural approach to responsibility, organisation, follow-through and persistence.
INFLUENCING
How a person takes charge, speaks up and makes sure their ideas are heard. It looks at their natural approach to persuading, leading from the front.
STRATEGIC THINKING
How a person takes in information and turns it into better decisions. It looks at their natural approach to analysis, learning, planning and looking ahead.
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
How a person builds the bonds that hold a team together. It looks at their natural approach to trust, empathy, inclusion and developing others.
